SYNTHEON offers three AIA Continuing Education courses:
Meeting Code Requirements for the Building Envelope in Today’s High Performance Environment
This course provides detailed information about new energy code requirements related to the building envelope. The course discusses factors that affect thermal performance in a wall assembly, new requirements for increased energy efficiencies, including continuous insulation, and how to meet these requirements more effectively and efficiently.

Steel Thermal Efficient Panels for Sustainable Design
This course provides an understanding of Sustainable Design while emphasizing the value of Energy Efficient Building Envelopes through the use of structural insulated wall systems such as steel thermal efficient panels, (S.T.E.P.). The course specifically examines how S.T.E.P. wall systems fit into the sustainable design assessment / process through the examination of the three key wall components and their relationships to energy and construction cycle efficiencies.

Engineered Lightweight Synthetic Particles
This course explores the traditional composition for lightweight concrete and introduces the features and benefits of a new and revolutionary engineered synthetic particle additive now used to create lightweight reinforced or unreinforced structural concrete. This new additive described in this course has been assessed and accepted for code compliance.
